Eating according to T.Hi.N.!

Our program will get you away from the fast-food culture we live in today and take you back a century when people understood how to make their own food, using food efficiently and healthfully.

There are a few complexities to understanding our food program, but many of its tenets are clear:

  • Eat real, high-quality foods that are as close to nature as possible.
  • Avoid additives, chemicals, preservatives, hormones and antibiotics.
  • Eat as locally and as seasonally as possible.
  • Use the following fats: butter, coconut oil and unheated olive oil. Avoid the polyunsaturated fats (including, soybean oil, canola oil, vegetable oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil, grape seed oil, corn oil).
  • Eat breakfast within one hour of waking to get your metabolism going.
  • Stay balanced: every meal including snacks should include a protein, fat and carbohydrate.
  • Eat every 2 to 4 hours to keep your blood sugar level stable.

During your T.Hi.N. program, I’ll provide you with extensive information about why these steps are all key to staying healthy, thin and energized. I’ve also provided a list of my favorite local resources here.

Our menu programs adhere strictly to these tenets. Once you understand where to shop, how to shop and how to cook foods according to T.Hi.N., this won’t be a difficult lifestyle to maintain. It’s all about retraining yourself to get rid of old habits—stopping at convenience stores and eating mindlessly—and developing new ones—packing snacks and lunches.
