Eat real food!
My philosophy is simple: eat real food. This means choosing foods as close to nature as possible.
These rules will help:
- If you are reading a food label and don’t know what an ingredient is, don’t eat it!
- If the food didn’t exist 100 years ago, don’t eat it!
Pretty simple, right?
Well, there’s a bit more to it than that. You need to keep your meals balanced, find good food sources, eat in season, and eat the right fats and enough fat. I have worked with well over 100 clients on nutrition and weight loss, and I like to remind them that what they put into their bodies will make a huge difference in how they feel and look on the outside (junk inside = junk outside).
Put real food on your plate, and your life, health and weight will change for the better. The trick is adapting to new eating and lifestyle habits, which isn’t easy. We all know that stopping at the gas station or drive-thru is much easier than packing your own lunch and snacks. But, the healthy choices—not the easy choices— will pay off in the long run.
If you’re sick and/or overweight, the bottom line is that you need to heal, and healing takes time! When your health isn’t where you want it to be, chances are your metabolism isn’t functioning properly. It’s my goal to help my clients learn how to eat the right foods in the right ratios to balance their bodies and heal their metabolism for good. When you finish one of my programs, you’ll be more educated, feeling better and healthier, and looking great. Now that’s changing for life!
